Apparently 2421 is being used as a spares (oh dear). Its motor bogies went to 2416 where Ma scanlon paired with 2411 on Satruday failed at Waterloo. 2411 is fine but Doreens back at Bournemouth. Expect the workings next week to be slashed by at least Half.

2414 left for Ilford this morning.

Word has it that 73136 has been contracted by GBRF for movement to Easlteigh. As the pigs come off lease and go to Eastleigh for Storage. They will go under their own power (those that work) to Eastleigh but the 73 will shunt them into the depot.

Cheers

Peter Taylor co owner of 73136 has confirmed 73136 is going down to eastleigh for 4 weeks to shunt in the works. though he is on holiday so will miss the fun of pig moving
For those ED neds 73136 leaves on the 15th to EH

Looks like I've had my last ride in a SWT Wessex... Saturday night in 2424 from Southampton Central - Bournemouth. I've seen a lot of Wessex units this weekend though... far more than 444's, weirdly.

I will be out most of the nights this week, Wednesday ( for the GB Raildrop run round at Poole) Thursday Friday and most of the day Saturday afternoon and evening but wont be travelling on them. I hope to get a vid and photos of the last from Waterlooo to call at poole and the return Weymouth - Bournemouth as well.

2409 is out and about as well.

Oh 2 more shots of 2421 at Bournemouth in the Poole Jan-June'07 gallery on the site. And before I get any more emails no the person was not trespassing to get the shots. He used a Ladder. I have had about 6 emails from morons accusing me of trespassing to get the photo of 2421.... even though its not my photo..... oh dear!!!

If you see me out give me the my lordzzz wave young bubble car padawan!!

It defeinately aint photoshopped!!!!

Here

and here

The shots of 2402 I need have to be your own. I want to add obviously to my website for my fourth coming 442 section but I cant use if I do not have the original owners permission.

Aye man, I know it's real, but that particular picture has been modified in some way... look at the grass and stuff. Weird.

Ok, cool. I'm looking forward to your 442 section, you run a great site :)

I dunno about that. I think it's definatley 2421 because if you compare Hentis's pic and that pic they are in exactly the same place, but it definitley looks edited. Either that or whoever took it needs to sort out their colour balance, the front especially is way off!

Also, if you block out the cab it looks like some of those German carriages with the grey and red doors, livery is quite similar.

Regarding the pic of the 442 on the Railway Center site. It does not look right at all. Having a 2nd look, the front is way too yellow. and the white just is not there.

But Its defeinately 2421. Its quite possibly been taken by Mark V Pike who was with Roger Smith ( the one who sent the me the 2421 photos on my site) , But thats at a guess.

Oh it looks as though there could be a run of 2 "specials" for the pigs. One on January 20th the other for January 27th. Thats all I know at the moment.
