Can anyone shed a light on this.

The 422 23:30 London - Burnley service is normally operated by Selwyns Coaches, however tonight South Gloucester Bus & Coach are operating the service with NX56AAA, with passengers having to change vehicles in Birmingham. No Selwyns vehicle in Victori

I know that NX56AAA is still owned and operated by South Gloucester Bus & Coach as it operated the 22:00 403 Service to Bath last night

Any information will be appreciated.

Thanks

Might have just been a breakdown, so SGBC would have covered the service to Birmingham then someone else onwards to Burnley.

Probably a breakdown or staff sickness...
At least it was still a NX branded coach so no brand damage beyond enthusiasts (unlike E Stott and Sons on their 311 working 90% of the time)

Stotts only have two NX coaches allocated for the Blackpool service and recently replaced an older two with a new batch of two, so rather than a short term shortage, it presumably must be allowed in the contract?

My understanding is that the 311(which is a Friday and Sunday only working) almost always gets a Stotts liveried vehicle rather than an NX one.

Until recently Stotts operated the additional Friday and Sunday only return journey on Service 320 between Bradford and Birmingham. From what I understand this was worked off the back of one of the Blackpool journeys using an NX liveried vehicle. However the time I rode on it, Stotts were presumably short of NX vehicles and one of their own was being used instead.

Also for some reason on that journey me and the other passengers boarding in Bradford were put on a 561 to Leeds and then transferred to the Stotts vehicle on the 320 there. Despite it passing through Bradford
