4 X Mobile Ops Manager roles (Birmingham)

Folks, four of these Network Rail jobs for B/ham just closed does anyone know if these are likely to go to those already in the business or would they consider outsiders?

If there are 4 roles they will have a bigger pool of applicants, some possibly internal/external giving a chance to external applicants to wow them.

I'm not aware fully of the recruitment process of Net Rail but I would assume external applications are very much highly considered as much as any. Internal applicants aren't always the best people for the jobs. Good luck if you've applied!

I actually spoke to someone in the know, so to speak, and because it's a brand new post in Birmingham, they're still working out how things will work. Can't see it being a huge wait.

Advertised in tandem with the external campaign internally, with a lot of interest for these very very sort after jobs.

Only grade 7 as well, but it’s the nature of the job rather than the salary.

Interesting I suspect many many people will have gone for this and it will take some time to go through the applications!

These are such sought after jobs internally, I doubt they have exhausted that avenue. It’s more likely, like most companies, they were advertised internally and externally at the same time or there abouts.

Not as far as I’m aware, but someone may be able to correct me, @LOM for example?

Most companies advertise both internally and externally regardless of internal candidates applying/being suitable.
