The bogie sides didnt come in the hurst models kit then?

Nope, as with most conversion kits you build it up by buying different parts. I've only gone for the basic (cabs/buffet sides) and then added other details that the kit doesn't include anyway in, but there are about 4 other bits you can buy, for example bogies, of course pushing the price up...

well I think you've used the term "built" a little bit too liberally there, its not even capable of reduced operation at the moment!

roll on K class...

ok then in the process of building!

Yer, well i keep admiring the pannier, hmmm, might do my self an underground layout!

because I'm cheap and don't want to pay for it, and I already have a GWR Pannier thats ripe for repainting. After all, I have a three car Q23 rake to pay for.

and the layout......haven't made the fiddle yard yet!

and plus i can paint lol!!!! will post some pictures soon!

ah yes well that doesn't require such a steady hand! I do hope your not thinking of Stephens 9F, that was not one of my better jobs.

thats the only model that ive seen that i know you did, its just very dusty thats all.

Chertsey, a pathetic town in the south
this is one of my favourite ones, it looks a lot better when not taken with flash photography. I still prefer my J72 though.
