Visiting my brother tomorrow in West Yorks., from Merseyside.
Just bought my North West Rover ticket, with this plan for an early start tomorrow:-
0615 TPE Liverpool LS to Manchester Piccadilly
0715 TPE Manchester Picc to Carlisle (should be on the new electric TPE train!)
0949 VT Carlisle to Wigan
1124 NT Wigan back to Liverpool LS
1222 TPE Liverpool LS to Huddersfield
1358 TPE Huddersfield to Dewsbury
arr 1408 in time for a late lunch.
Would have gone down the Settle and Carlisle to Leeds but nothing running in the morning - first arrival into Leeds is 1435, meaning I wouldn't get to DEW till 1500 - just a bit late for lunch.
But this still leaves three days for the S&C!
