Sadly four members of our pilot community passed away recently. Our thoughts are with their family and friends. However, there is no truth whatsoever in the claims on social media speculating that the four deaths are linked. Julie

Reports are circulating that 4 British Airways pilots have suddenly died after having experimental injections. They confirm the deaths but deny there is a link.

I would be surprised if BA had the authority to give their pilots an experimental injection on their own. If they have taken one, it should presumably have been under the supervision of medical authorities somewhere.

BALPA would be all over this if it was true. David Kurten is an ex UKIP candidate, and a declared conspiracy theorist and anti-vaxxer, so I can't say I'm surprised he is "re-reporting" claims like this (he's been careful enough not to allege it, merely report the allegation).

One of the pilots had been in hospital in Texas for many months before returning home and sadly passing away.

You mean antivaxxer David Kurten is trying to link these deaths with the covid vaccine despite literally zero evidence for it.
BA employ around 4000 pilots amongst a workforce of over 45k. In such a large number of people, 4 people dying in close ish succession isn't that unheard of surely?
The antivaxxers are really grasping at straws / scrapping the barrel (whatever metaphor you want to use) trying to link them.

I think until there's something more conclusive than "reports are circulating" such as actual reports we can lock this one on the basis that there's no evidence to actually suggest anything untoward has happened and from looking at the tweets it seems to be based on anti-vax propaganda.
