I wonder if it may be having its livery modified, as I believe it currently is in the original livery with the green doors and the logos by the doors which only have “A” as the text, rather than “AVANTI WEST COAST.” This is probably highly unlikely in the current climate though.

390155 is the first unit to enter the H7 Heavy Overhaul programme at Longsight. It should be back into service by the end of July.

What’s involved in this overhaul?
It is essentially the major mechanical parts, including bogies, wheelsets, traction motors, cardan shafts, tilt mechanism, pantographs etc.
The bogies and traction motors are being overhauled at Alstom's Crewe facility, making use of the facilities and expertise at the former Bombardier site.
The first two trains are scheduled to take 4 weeks but this will reduce to one week per train as the programme progresses.

As mentioned above and its been out of service for 23 days so far. The last working was 1H33 1648 EUS-MAN on 01/07/23.
