390055 coming off edge hill depot 29/12/11 to turn via perry barr /soho jct to longsight depot for 11 to 9 car conversion.
sorry no times at present but normal path is 08.10 off edge hill.

Because there are very few other locations (Can't think of any off the top of my head actually, but there probably are others) on the West Coast main line that allow the formation of a Pendolino to be reversed like it can be by running via Perry Barr and Soho junctions.

Aye, that'd be one. I'd think it'd be a bit of a carry on to do though. Lots of drivers changing ends required, being as it is a triangle.

It could be turned via Earlestown in the normal 57/390 path but running via BHM probably easier.
