37s in York

Yesterday, I'm convinced I heard three separate 37 movements in the morning. I was nowhere near the station, but you know what Growlers are like in full tilt! Anyone know local movements?

shunting moves for one of the steam services?

When i was up for the Waverley a few weeks ago one of the WCRC 37's was hanging about the NRM (See my flickr for a poor picture!)

The steam loco for the Scarborough Spa Express was a partial failure yesterday morning so a Class 37 did the honours for the morning circle. On arrival back at York the 37 went off to the NRM, collected 44932, returned to the train (which had stood for 40 minutes in platform 5!) and dragged the whole lot to Scarborough. The return was steam hauled with the 37 on the back.
