37s in Nuneaton Sidings?

Hi all,

I've just been informed that there are 2 DRS 37s sitting in the Engineer's sidings at Nuneaton. I found the inbound working this morning: http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/U10823/2018/02/10/advanced

I've also found the outbound working tonight: http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/U10831/2018/02/10/advanced

It does seem a bit odd that they've come down for a day trip to Nuneaton...

Does anybody know what they're doing there? I fancy a visit later if it stops raining.

Worked a pathfinder tour up from Eastleigh this morning and due to go back this evening

The working you quoted from RTT was 88001 coming down to relieve them

So the inbound working I posted was the 88 and the outbound is the 37s?

No, the trip back to Crewe will a an 88/68 combo, the 37's will take 1Z06 down to Eastleigh after a loco change from the 88/68

Oh I get it now. I didn't see the Preston to Eastleigh one in RTT. So if I go at half 8 I can see an 88!

Yes, you should see 88001 and a 68 arrive, and hand over to the 37's for the trip southwards after a change
