North or south though becasue I'm going to pay a visit to stafford next week and I'm wondering if they will be operating to the south as I would have thought it would be south but I'm not sure. :I

There was an 8 car 379 running yesterday between Stafford and Crewe (possibly further north)

They do at least two return trips per day sometimes more. I commute from Stafford to Birmingham and see them at around 0800 and 1700 each day. If I finish early I might also see one around 1400/1430.

Great I'm going down on thursday probably to catch the pretendolino and the freight rush between 3 and 8 so should be great day thanks for the replies all have been very helpful.
