I’ve recently become aware that 37884 has had an accident with some hst power cars and I was wondering what kind of damage was received in the accident and when will 37884 return to the main line from its accident?

Literally no damage and not a crash. It touched buffers with the pair of 43s in Wembley loco holding sidings so as to fit in behind the protecting signal. A deliberate and controlled move by the driver.

Interesting, I was told that damage had been caused to 884 which is the reason why it had to get sent back to derby instead of being on the 321 drag that it was booked for.
