377.208/214 transfer to FCC?

Heard elsewhere that these are due to transfer to FCC tomorrow (Saturday). Does anyone have any timings/routing please?

208 was in passenger service for Southern on Friday. Seen at London Bridge at 19:30.

Should be 5Z69 - Selhurst T&R.S.M.D to Bedford, via Norwood Junction, Herne Hill and then the TL core. Leaving this evening at 1820.

Finally got put in the system then. They are coming up in debranded Southern and not expected to be in service this week.

Yeah Cauldwell is going o do the branding as both units were in service yesterday morning with Southern. Not expected to be in service this week to allow alterations to take place (software, FCC logos).

What's the selection process do you reckon? i.e why have they picked certain units, and not others? I believe the ones going are not in number order....

Do u think it's because some have poorer failure rates and southern select those ones to go?

The plan is for 208-210/213-215 to transfer. They choose 2 they could spare at the time.

Yes so that gives FCC 377.207 - 215 inclusive leaving Southern with 201 - 206.

And then of course 377.701 - 8 which like the 377/2's could literally turn up anywhere.

This does then lead me to wonder whether any 377/7 will ever find its way further south than Metroland (to cover for main-line stock shortages etc).... but obviously OT for this thread

I think a /7 will be used at some point on one of the weekend services to Brighton. Certainly like one to so I can have a ride. I've cleared 4x /6 this way (although I've had a few I've already ridden turn up).

More 377/2 should transfer this weekend. No unit IDs yet.

No, next unit is due to move 01/08. The 6x 377/2 are replacing 3x to Northern and 3x for C6/C4 work. The latter three are already off having work done so the next two 377/2 transfers will put the Thameslink fleet levels back to where it should do.
