I have attached a short clip of 37421 seen arriving at Brush Loughborough for "repaint". Other than that its almost unknown who what where when or why it'll emerge as. Has anyone heard anything either rumoured or confirmed?

All I can offer is hearsay that there were rumours it would be a non-Colas livery

I work near Derby station and see the Colas 37's a lot. I think the livery suits them, although it helps that they are usually filthy. Interesting to see what it turns out with.

I didn't know until this morning that Les Emery has passed away (RIP Les) and that Les was instrumental in saving 37421 from scrap. There is an image online of 37421 in withdrawn condition missing various components, and still in Regional Railways livery.
Obviously it wouldn't happen but i would be rather nice to fit plaques or nameplates mentioning Les Emery's name maybe

Les owned a number of 37s at one point, 37023, 37116, 37219 and 37421. I think 37219 carried his name for a bit

37/4s belong in large logo.

That's how I will always remember them.

I dunno trainload petroleum with the shell plates has it's appeal
As does TransRail. Large Logo has somewhat been done to death by DRS.

Well, it has been repainted into…

Colas.
