According to Samp, it went bang at Healy Mills on 6E02 Crewe - Scunthorpe today...any info on this?

He said it was something related to a piston...oh dear! :sad:

There has been a reply on wnxx after I asked about 37410 5 mins ago.

Reports of its demise would seem to be a little premature. Ran back under its own steam to Warrington as 0M03.

410 is knackered - well it certainly looks it. EWS haven't looked after it at all...on the outside anyway, which is a shame! Look at 40145 which is of similar age...not a patch of rust anywhere. *Tuts*

40145 is also preserved, whereas 410 isn't...

But look how much more 37410 is used. Most days it goes somewhere, whereas more often than not 40145 is sat in Carnforth...

Hasn't 40145 just been repainted in BRLL Blue? If so it's bound to look better than the 37!

Besides, 40145 is preserved, 37410 is in operational service, not a very fair comparison ;)

However, when you compare it to DRS...

Even them DRS jobbies fail quite a lot. It's just they're so regularly in multiple, it's not well noticed, as the other can pull or push. ;)
