37401 is now operation then.

I heard it ran from Toton to Warrington LE this afternoon so maybe it could be swapping with 37422 at Aberdeen or 37411 at Inverness on the snow plough duties maybe?

37401 has a defective RETB unit so until fixed, is unlikely to venture any further north than Edinburgh unless there's an emergency.

Not my call, although we are pretty flush with demic 60's at the moment! You can have one of those if you want...

401 now has its 2M restriction back so no multi working for that one on No.2 end...

I'm sure you could ask a few people, see what they could do.....;)

No thanks, keep them 60's away, specially that Blue froth Bucket.

Multi restrictions on 401, well you don't need Multi-Working for a Buffer Puffer.

I wonder what will appear on the S&C job on February the 23rd, wouldn't be 405 and 411 would it, I could increase my S&C mileage on those to then

Are you doing the March the 29th tour sir, more miles Platting action I believe courtsey of Kingfisher 8-)

Nooo, keep 401 off the BP ;).

What would your prefered loco choice be then, theres a big selection remember, could it be 405, maybe that green celebrity 411, could it be one of last years main machines 417 or just possibly 422???

I wouldn't mind having 422 again, never really rated 411 (although I can understand the paint froth attraction)...

Hehe yes, I guess the only reason I don't want 401 or 417 for that matter is that I've already seen them on the BP but beggars can't be choosers!

I don't want 417 or 422 because I had both of them on the Heart of Wales tour!

Basically I couldn't care less which ones they are as long as they make plenty of racket, the following /4's were the ones I liked: 401, 402, 407, 408, 409, 410, 412, 413, 415, 416, 417, 418, 419, 422, 423, 425, 426, 427, 428, 430 and 431 8)

422 was a very claggy beast the last time I saw it. Though I presume the problem causing that has been fixed. Then again, EWS...

As long as its not 37417 AND 37422 I'll be happy, I need more photos of 401/405/411.

Ideally it would be 401 and 411, or 405 and 411.

Don't want 411, that would be my last chance, don't rate it much, high mileage from the S&C.
