Hello,

Recently 37175 and 37612 were sent to Donny yard to do freight trains. Does anyone know why it is and if there are any more that they are scheduled to do before they return to Derby?

As per this link, the pair have returned to Derby R.T.C. today. The use would only have been short term due to loco shortages, with the locos needed at Derby for exams/test train work etc...

The 37s were used to work a 6C87 weekend possession train from Doncaster onto the Ilkley branch and back, working somewhere around Baildon.

Part of the route involved on the branch lines had an RA5 axle-weight restriction (with no class 66s allowed) so class 37s were used instead.

37612 at the other end: https://www.flickr.com/photos/195188276@N02/53730049637/

Something similar happened in December when 37254 + 37405 were used to work a possession train onto the Balloch branch:

Okay, would they be used on any other non RA5 restricted routes?

Both locos are booked to work a test train (PLPR1/Mentor) to Ferme Park next Tuesday.
