350110 At Stafford with Window Smashed

Yesterday i arrived at Stafford and noticed at Class 350 parked on Platform 6, i arrived on Platform 3 so i decided to check it out, when i got there i noticed that the driver cab window of Class 350, 350110 was smashed and a paramedic went onboard the train with Viirgin staff also walking on and off the train and guarding it, managed to capture at picture anyone know what happened?

Think it's best this thread be locked asap, as I would say it's a serious incident that's happened, i.e. the driver has had something either dropped from a bridge, or thrown at the train, resulting in the shattered drivers window. I would have thought no-body should be talking about this, especially on a public forum, as an internal inquiry will most certainly be underway with regards to the incident, & any speculation or discussion said on here would have I thought put the inquiry under jeopardy. Enough said.

An internal inquiry? Unless the driver had gone mad and punched it out from the inside, why would they need to hold an internal inquiry?

Somewhat good to hear it was a pigeon rather than a criminal act. Here's hoping the driver is okay.

Quite possibly one of the most over the top melodramatic posts ever.
I'm sorry but if there was an internal enquiry every time something hit a train windscreen we would never have time to move any trains anywhere
The fact that it was a pigeon makes it even more over the top. Yesterday I took out 3 pigeons and a fair few pheasants !

How ridiculous, whatever has happened this is a public forum and a discussion happening on here is no different to a group of people chatting about it over the pub! Anyway its quite obvious that in this instance the driver is clearly not at fault, so there is not a problem. Even if it had, a group of enthusiasts talking is not going to compromise it, unless the driver himself comes on and tells us.
