34067 and 70000 on the ACE

34067 and 70000 is now going via bristol and not castle cary, does anybody know if it will stop at bristol or bath spa

Saw tangmere parked up about 100 yards short of Bishops Lydeard station (West Somerset Railway) yesterday afternoon, cylinder problems were heard mentioned.

Am I correct in thinking that the return journey to London was diesel all the way from Exeter owing to problems with the steam locos and I presume no alternative could be found quickly? If so, what a shame for the passengers.

it was worked by 70000 from Newquay, with 47500 on the back, and the 47 on from Exeter, and surely few could complain about that./

47580 & 70013 down to Weymouth yesterday with the Dorset Coast Express; 47s & Brits seem to be getting quite the fashionable combination.

34067 bowed out at Taunton while working the ACE, she is suffering right hand cylinder problems. Reported to chuck clouds of steam out of the right hand side upon removal of the train so it doesn't sound all that good.
