325009/017 hybrid - status?

Hi all

Does anyone know the status of the hybrid 325009/017?

Is it shut away in CE and where are the other coaches?

Any chance of it coming out if the proposed ECML services start up?

Any info appreciated as its my last 'one'

I'm certain it's still at Crewe IEMD. I've not seen 325009 in a while, although I visit the WCML about every 2 months so you never no. Nothing else I know, sorry. But I'll keep my eye out next week as I may see one or two RM trains. Saw one on Tuesday, but that was 325002/012/016.

I see the 325s regularly and have not seen 009 for (at a guess) around two to three years; IIRC it was towed back to Crewe from Willesden about the time DBS took over the mail trains. Don't think you will see it out working any time soon or possibly never again as, from what I have heard, it has been used as a "Christmas Tree".
