I was changing trains at Tring this afternoon and saw a FCC Class 313 at the signal on the London end of Platform 4.

Having nothing better to do, I sauntered up to have a look - as I don't see many 313's - but it ran away before I got there.

Perhaps I scared it off...

Anyhow, it it very unusual for FCC 313's to wander that far into LM territory?

Hmm interesting :)

Possibly a Refurb? Didn't FCC take on some of the old LO 313s or did they all go to Southern?

So, not that unusual, then.

Made a change from the Pendos, Voyagers, 350's, 325's and occasional 321's that I normally see.

I've noted that it's normally Friday pm when I see them - going south. Two weeks ago I was just a little too late to see one manoeuvring in the sidings area to the south of Wolverton Station - it had just reached the central siding between the Up Slow and Down Slow, and too obscured to get a decent snap.
