Think the bogies were needed off it
Far as I knew a while back the group are still working on cleaning the interior out & slowly piecing it back together.
As for it's missing driving trailer i do know there's a 303 driving vehicle that survives. Currently located somewhere in southend & used for training purposes by the police, sure remember hearing that the group were going to buy that & pair it with 311103.
Summerlee is an ok home for it but would be a load better in a proper museum or at least inside to protect it from the elements.

75613 ex unit 303013 at Gravesend is the other car that still survives.
Edit- I've found it here on Google maps, it's in a Police training compound and in all over blue livery:

I visited Summerlee a few years ago. I was able to sneak my phone up inside one of the carriages and room this photo.
Looks like someone left some lost property on the rack!

Was just having a look at the Facebook Page. Yes the bogies where needed off the other end car by the VSOE and subsquently scrapped. Here is there facebook page. Its good to see some work being carried out.

I hope it gets saved so that there's a complete hybrid 303/311 unit. It could be restored in different liveries, and show both refurbished and original features to show the history and evolution of those EMUs
