What's the current status of 31106? It doesn't seem to have worked on any test trains since 2013 and currently resides at Derby RVEL. Is it due to be scrapped or sold off?

The loco is privately owned by Howard Johnston - the lease to NR ran out towards the end of 2013, hence why it hasn't been used since.

I've seen it more recent than 2013 around Vauxhall and Waterloo.Wasn't it doing test train? Perhaps I am mistaken and time flies past.
