31 & NR DVT Eastbourne

Just discovered that a 31 will be heading to Eastbourne, anyone got the timetables.

I saw what appeared to be a yellow dvt at Selhurst depot on saturday night. It was with possibly two more vehicles but no 31 so I would suggest that the visit will probably be soon.

Just a minor point but as far as I'm aware Network Rail do not operate any DVTs so I guess you are referring to Mk2 DBSOs? (See here and here)

That is exactly what I saw.The train I was on was running fast from London Bridge to Tonbridge via Redhill and I only caught a glimpse of it.

It's 31 106 + 3 coaches - been stabled at Selhurst every day this week.

Im interested in knowing the timetable too, havent seen a 31 down this way in a long time.

I know it arrives at Eastbourne at 2349, but I would like to know the rest of the timetable.

It's one of the UTU's, ultrasonic test units. As for NR not operating DVT's....let's say some funny rumours are flying around the office at the moment.

EDIT: It's UTU2, and it's running Selhurt to Eastbourne and return, via Redhill and Hastings. I've got the timings but it's a bit tricky to get them on here in their current format.
