Right, here's a strange one. In 1989, BR ran a railtour using a 4TC unit, with a 33/1 next 2 the 4TC, and a 33/0 (33008 btw) in front. as both were suitable for multiple working, but the 33/1 only equipped with the jumpers for push pull operation, when the tour ran in push mode, the 33/1 was in front of the 33/0, but with the 33/1 next to the 4TC.
Now here's my question. As a class 31, and for that matter a class 26, is a blue star rated loco for multiple working, as is a 33 of any sub class, could you have this configuration, a 31+33/1+4TC, and then in push mode, 4TC+33/1+31?
