New to the forums, but i'm hoping someone with a bit of knowledge can help me!

I live in the North West near Lancaster and I am going to London on Saturday 29th May and I want to return early doors Friday morning (i'll have been up all night!). Getting to Euston isn't an issue.

It appears that there isn't much from Euston on the 30th because there's all sorts going on on the WCML.

Can anyone suggest a route back for me? Anything from 6am onwards! However I really want to be back around lunchtime, as I have more work on Sunday afternoon.

If worst comes to worst I can get a 10am flight from Gatwick to Manchester Airport and get back to Lancaster from there.

Your help is much appreciated!

I think the earliest is the 8:10 Chiltern Service from Marylebone to Birmingham Moor St at 10:26.
Then the 11:08 from New St will get into Lancaster at 13:08.
Advance singles are available for £5 + £15.

I assume you mean Sunday morning, and not Friday.

Or the 7:00 National Express coach from Victoria Coach station to Birmingham, arrive 9:35, then the 10:10 to Lancaster arrive at 12:09.

There is a 6:00 coach, but I don't think that will make an earlier connection at Birmingham (11 mins from Digbeth to New St).

Cheers, I'll have a look into that

My event finishes at around 05:00 and I despise buses and coaches. Can't be bothered hanging around until 8, and now with talks of BA staff striking it looks like Gatwick is a bad idea too. Think i'll just give it a miss. Doh!
