3-pitch class 222 horn

I was going back in my videos when I came across an excellent time in East Mids Parkway with a class 222 and a very happy driver, in which the driver somehow managed to push 3 different pitch of horn out of the class 222, something I didn’t know to be possible. The question I now ask is how could this happen, is there some hidden feature of sorts or

Are you sure it's three distinct "tones" and not two with one being sounded as both loud and soft?

I believe the horn options on the 222s are:

High Soft
High Loud
Low Soft
Low Loud

That is what the 222 has n the way of the horn stuck, 4 directions high/low loud and high/low soft, but in this instance it was definitely 3 pitches. Here’s the video: https://photos.app.goo.gl/x6fJekyTfxFgSBPx9

I don't know how the horns are operated - but if it is a lever operating a pneumatic valve (rather than buttons operating valves electrically) then the third tone (the middle one of the three) may have been achieved with partial operation of the high-pitched horn, but the restricted airflow generated a lower frequency than with the valve fully open to give maximum pressure for the higher pitched and louder third tone.
