3 Letter Codes for closed stations

Hi guys,

I'm looking for the 3 letter (CRS) codes for the following closed stations:

London Broad Street
Holborn Viaduct
Balloch Pier

Does anyone know what they were? I've a feeling Balloch Pier closed before they were introduced but I'm pretty sure the other two would have had them.

I've Checked the [excellent] Railway Codes site and they are not listed.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Noting what you say, my records show that both Balloch Pier and London Broad Street closed in the same year of 1986, whilst Holborn Viaduct closed in 1990.

I have no hard information, but may I offer a little guesswork? Perhaps it might help you locate the codes if you have some possibilities to look for.

Broad Street: given that Cannon Street is CST, Fenchurch Street is FST, Liverpool Street is LST, and given that BST is not used, if Broad Street were to have had a CRS code I think it would have had to be BST.

Balloch Pier: given that the current Balloch station was formerly Balloch Central and retains the code BHC, it seems likely that Balloch Pier would have been coded BHP.

I have no good ideas for Holborn Viaduct, but the normal pattern for two-word stations is one letter for the second word, so something like HBV, HLV or HNV (none of which are presently used) would make sense. (HOL is already used for Holton Heath.)

I do appreciate your comments but I would prefer to establish what they actually were rather than do guesswork. I was thinking along the same lines as yourself for Broad Street and Balloch Pier, but as we have seen with 3 letter codes, logic doesn't always apply.
