Hello, I was wondering if anyone could recommend some good routes to travel on in Wales? Is there a Wales rover ticket available? I will be based in Cardiff for 3 days!

Thanks in advance folks!

The Explore South Wales ticket is good. Valid for 4 days in 8 on trains and 8 days in 8 on some buses. Railcard discount available on this one (unlike the Valley day ticket above which in my experience CANNOT be railcard discounted).

Lots of options. you could do the Heart of Wales circular trip, explore the Carmarthen/Fishguard/Pembroke/Milford Haven route, do the Valley Lines.

https://www.arrivatrainswales.co.uk/rovers-and-rangers/ has a new one for Cardiff "Explore the Capital Day Ranger"which covers bits of they Valley lines close to Cardiff. Seems quite cheap,

Thanks guys! Appreciate the support! Will try and get some HSts and Pacers whilst I am down.

Is the WAG easy to do?

Using the evening train northbound to Shrewsbury and return, yes. You need a Premier Class Upgrade.
