Why did the mint airways plane cause such a stir? I am confused.

I'm really not sure, but then I am unfamilliar with the local aviation scene in Manchester.

I would guess it's because that's one of two planes that Mint own so it's pretty rare. (Info from wiki so pinches of salt advised)
