Isn't that 'S' (Surface) stock rather than tube stock? Try putting that down a tube and it wouldn't get far

In fact there are detection mechanisms (at relevant places) to prevent them entering tubes.

Are there any set times for 8X09? The move passes through a lot of places local to me on its’ journey through the West Midlands, including 100 yards away from where I live, and it would be good to get a look at least once.

in my defence i only saw it round a plastic wall that i had as my view for mBHM to YRK on my lovely Voyager

The problem occurs because the "tube" has become synonymous with "high frequency", even bus operations are calling themselves a "tube" and the DLR and Overground appear on what really should be called the TfL Map, but is called a "Tube map". But then people don't say "I saw a tube on the motorway" when they saw a coach going between Oxford and London (or do they?!), nor do they say the same about the DLR (though they do run in tube tunnels to Bank!)
But, as someone who considers the Met to be a 'proper' railway and is used to looking down (literally!) at tube passengers as you overtake them between Wembley Park and Finchley Road, I certainly don't consider the huge, spacious A Stocks to be much like those tiny, claustrophobic miniature tube trains! (and I'm sure anyone who is over 6ft would agree!
