Its not a shame - the line itself is as crap as the trains which served it.

Tell me about it! The trees were scrapping down the sides of the train when I went on the branch before it closed! Also, Silvertown station is not the kind of place you want to be on your own with a camera waiting for a railtour!

I'll always remember the laughs all us enthusiasts were having at Silvertown before getting on the final train to North Woolwich. Even though it's not my favourite line on favourite traction or anything, it was still a bit of a strange feeling to be on the last public train on the line.
