This is what confuses me about headcodes!

2Q08 was working in East Anglia on Wednesday with the Serco Test Train 950001.
I saw a picture of a 2Q08 working over the other side of the country earlier this month (recent photo).
Now 2Q08 is working at Smithy Bridge!

Why is this?

I may be wrong, but I believe the network rail test trains all use Q in the headcode.

2q08 is the headcode used for the tracking recording unit 950001 wherever it runs in the country. On this ocassion the 31 was substituting for the 950.

Looked a good spot Adam

Yeah the 31 was standing in for the Sprinter unit. I hardly ever use headcodes to 'showcase' my pictures as they confuse the hell out of me but was feeling slightly lazy today

Is it there other set headcodes for other Test Trains? (Sorry thats for another thread [ now doing it ] )

A nice selection of images, and as mentioned a nice location to photograph 2Q08. I think you've done well with the 180 shot depsite the weather not looking up to much. Look forward to seeing more
