This service is usually a 4-car 465, running via Denmark Hill and being an all-stations stopper from St Mary Cray. Despite being in the peak (albeit near the end), it's only a 4-car and no service exists at 19:12, so is the last of the enhanced half-hourly frequency in the peak. As it happens when it gets to Gillingham, it goes out of service and the journey back to Victoria is a 6-car (due to become 8-car from next week), that went down as the 18:12.
Could the service do with an extra 2 or 4 carriages, given the time it runs and apparent loadings? According to RailChecker, it looks heavily loaded most days from Victoria-St Mary Cray. Southeastern's timetable change doesn't highlight it as having a length boost though, and as it mentions the 18:12 will be lengthened they'd have mentioned it.
