Well what a day it turned out to be...!
I got a nice suntan in the morning waiting for the 37s and 56s; fortunately they were running on time, I didn't bother waiting for the 67s, after that it all started to go downhill some what!
I caught some more rays again waiting in an open field with no shelter for the double headers of which were an hour or so late; apparently one of the generators in a support coach caught fire, other rumours say it was a 'hot-box'?
Later on in the evening I waited for the 56s in another field this time with the sun beating on my back and neck, after an hour nothing showed so I decided to go home.
Feeling pretty sure that I had probably missed the 56s I went to St. Davids to hopefully see the 37s depart, they were scheduled off SD at 09.52ish
to my surprise at about 9.15 the 56s showed theyre faces and fortunately stopped, so that made for a nice departure.
Then while still waiting for the 37s to show, the 67s appeared almost 90mins late, not that Im too worried about these, it was a bonus to see anyway. Finally as the light had fallen and I nearly decided to call-it the wonderful 37s turned up in all there glory making for a wonderful evening departure. So the conclusion is, despite spending a collective time 4 hours waiting for trains, the sun tan is looking good!
I will upload my videos shortly and give a link here.
Thanks for all the timings by the way.
