Right, I've made some arrangements to be in the area with another colleague on the 26th Feb, what would be the best way to get to Norwich from Hertford?

Travel down to Moorgate and walk to Liverpool Street?
Travel from Hertford East direct to Liverpool Street?
Hertford North to Norwich via Stevenage and Cambridge?

Bearing in mind, I'm departing Hertford about 1400 and want to get to Norwich if possible to get a return run to Yarmouth as well as Lowestoft before either experiencing IC to Liverpool Street or go direct to Peterborough on the Liverpool Lime Street service at the end.

Looks like it's the same journey time but if you go to Moorgate... the walk isn't far at all to Liverpool Street but it will take perhaps 10 minutes platform-to-platform but that compares to about 1 minute at Liverpool Street. I'd say it's more of an issue of where in Hertford you are coming from as the stations are not near each other and that walk is potentially a lot longer.

If you can get the 14:09 from Hertford East, do that. If you're lucky you may just make the 15:00 to Norwich! If you're the other side of town, then the 14:12 from North gives you a comfortable connection to the 15:30 service.
