26-30 Railcard and Citizencard

I am looking to get a 26-30 Railcard for my rail holiday in June, but I have discovered that I need some form of ID; a passport, a driving license or an ID Card.

My passport and provisional driving license have both expired, and a Citizencard looks cheapest, but will it be accepted by the site?
