231 through Hereford yesterday?

Hi all. Friend sent me a photo of a 231 being taken through Hereford by a 37 on Friday the 1st. Photo metadata says 18:23. Why was this? Thanks.

I believe the wheel lathe is out of use at Cardiff so several units have been back and forth to Holyhead for tyre turning.
