23:59 from New Mills Central - Manchester Piccadilly?!

Good evening all! Just been onto LDB this evening and I've just spotted a 23:59 from NMC-MAN. What's this all about?? There is no timetabled train at this time and the latest departure in the timetable is 23:30. Can anyone shed any light on it? Please see attached screenshot for reference.

its empties..arrives in picc 00.20 (give or take a min or two lol) a few years a go it used to run all stops from Lime St. to Mcr Oxford Road then change destination to New Mills Central and all stops, was a biatch of a job thank god (or diagrams) they changed it lol

Train is 2T66 2359 New Mills Central - Manchester Piccadilly 0032.

One would imagine it isn't one of the busiest Northern services ;)
Stops as listed in the screenshot from what I can see!

Late night rave at The Peaks? There are some great pubs in New Mills, maybe it's a chance for the city dwellers to experience throwing out time!

Hi Wensley. Yes, but my point was that this 23:59 service isn't timetabled so why was is on the live departure boards? And because it is not a timetabled service, it will be running empty back to MAN. I'm guessing it is the unit that formed the 2324 MAN-NMC
