23/08 Low Speed Derailment at Tonbridge

That's what the crane is for - to lift an 08 and a translator vehicle into the sidings, to drag the derailed unit back.
An 08 seems a bit of overkill, although it would provide huge amounts of tractive effort for the task in hand and is probably the most convenient option in this case if there happens to be one in the yard. One of those little battery shunters they often have in depots these days might be an alternative, and easier to lift into place. Maybe part of the inventory authorities could carry around on a rerailing train/lorry in future. Alternatively, a self-powered road-rail vehicle if there's a way to get behind the derailment by road. Not in this case though, as the dead-end sidings are rail-locked.
