Hi Everyone,

I'd like to try and get a ride behind a 225 Set whilst they are still in service. What would be the best way to get a 225 and not the Azuma? Do they run at fixed times/services? Any recommendations on a nice end point (I'd be travelling northwards)

Thanks!

They operate regular services between King's Cross and Leeds. Details of diagrams on this thread. Nice end points would perhaps be Peterborough, Newark, Doncaster or Leeds.

Mostly Kings Cross/Leeds but with some workings to/from York/Bradford.

Realtimetrains does show both current allocations and also which services are intended to be 225s.

Also an early morning starter from Skipton.
