Ok, but not if have a reservation with an interrail ticket as there is a fee. I assumed as the OP is on an interrail ticket they'll use the ticket on Eurostar.

Whatever you have, if you're late because of delays or cancellations, Eurostar will rebook you on the next available train without any extra costs. They have always done that, and it's now somewhat formalised because Eurostar has joined the AJC.
Changing the reservation only costs something if the change is your initiative.

But why have that hassle for sake of leaving a bit earlier? All you gain by going later is a few hours in bed.
The OP asked for advice and that's what I've done.

I would certainly consider doing one leg of the trip to Narvik via Fauske. As Sir Felix says only the final bit of the trip up to Narvik is really scenic and that is best seen when heading for the town. Much of the rest of the journey is an awful lot of tundra and silver birch trees.

Sure, as I said, I'd also think about leaving a bit earlier. I was just (repeatedly) correcting the assumption that there is cost involved in taking a later Eurostar because of delays.
