22 coach Pendolino showing on Realtimetrains

Presumably a error in the system but did get me wondering, have Pendolinos the capability to run in multiple?

They can couple with each other and with Voyagers for rescue purposes only, not in regular operation.

The most common cause for such an allocation on RTT is a unit swap where for whatever reason the original unit hasn’t been removed. RTT is only as good as the information it receives.

It is normally because there is a lag in the data systems processing. The previous unit will have been removed from allocation, just the back office railway systems playing slow.
