... just passed said service at Crewe at 07.25 (due in Euston at 07.47) currently expected to arrive at 09.27.

It left on time, anyone know what caused the delay?

The Scotrail website said the Northbound had problems with a train fault, not sure if that will hit both directions as the Southbound is not mentioned at all!

It was 23 late at Haymarket West Junction, 75 late at Waverley and then appears 99 late at Slateford. Looks to me like it went round the 'sub'. This will be knock on from the derailment which I believe was being recovered last night with Single Line Working in place through Princes St Gardens around it.

Suburban line runs from Haymarket East junction via Morningside, Newington and Brunstane before joining up back up with the main line near Craigentinny.

I sometimes used to see 37s running through the back of Niddrie when on the bus while it waited time at Hay Drive
