Looking forward to Heljan's 155, though I'm not certain that's actually due for 2025- it may be 2026 by the time it arrives. Already got one on preorder of course!
As for unannounced models I want to see in 2025, it'd be nice if Hornby were to retool their now very dated 142 and 110 units. A correctly-scaled* 124 Trans-Pennine unit would be nice too. As a rule I don't model electrics, but if one of the manufacturers were to release a 308 set I'd be tempted. Such a model would allow a fairly wide range of eras and regions, with the same bodyshell design being used on 304s, 305s and 504s.
*=inherent flaws with OO notwithstanding.

I’m not sure there would be any point in Hornby re-tooling the 142 when Realtrack have a new version on the way.
Personally I’d like to see someone do a Caledonian Sleeper 73/9, anybody will do…

Fair point, I'd forgotten Realtrack were doing a 142.
What I really want is a 141, but I'm not holding my breath on that one. Heljan seem to like doing obscure oddities though, so maybe they'll do the 140 or one of the LEV units!

Yeah, it’s just slightly too niche to be done I think.
Hornby have announced they are announcing their 2025 range on the 14th of January.

Expecting the Rapido Stroudley E1 might make an appearance this year - was announced back in June 22... Q2 2025 was one date I had seen recently....

Okay. They've got an NSE 4VEP which is good. OK it's in the weird light blue NSE livery instead of the darker blue version but that's good enough.

Interesting Hornby are doing a Railroad Class 58....
Interesting too that they are doing a re-run of the VEP, one in early NSE and another all-blue one. Hope they get the motor in the right place. Not convinced Hornby will correct the cab windows ... Looks like the blue one is from the early "Bournemouth" units 7701 - 7720. No surprise there are no external lifting lugs. Now if Accurascale and Bachmann can add chains...
Edit: I hope they correct the colour of the front-end gangway - looks black in the images. Did any early VEP run like this?

Delighted with that 58 and also a Gronk at just over £50! The two retro train sets look brilliant as well. I’m making the move over to N gauge right now due to space problems but I may have to still buy some of this stuff!

Definitely, I was disappointed when they released the mk5's but no 73s. Although these days the Accurascale mk5's seem to be silly prices.

RailRoad Class 800s seem reasonable - £254.96 for a 5-car GWR set could be a nice way to attract new blood into the hobby.
