OK then I am back and ready to provide trip report spoilers! The read will be worth the extended wait, I just need to make sure I'm happy with it before it can go up!
So, where did I leave this thread? Oh yes, the chance spotting of a Eurostar in the suburbs of Amsterdam. Here's the rest then:

Not bad for a red pen fest over 5 and something hours, with a number of station-to-station walks and with a suitcase with me for the whole day! Stay tuned for the epic trip report to find out more about the day, let's just say it became my most expensive London-based red pen fest ever!

Another mini red pen fest with case in tow, the poor thing has a seriously flat wheel after this adventure! I kid you not, I may have to snap what it looks like after exploring the bumpy streets of Amsterdam and London! Not to mention being made to keep pace with me on the way back to base once in Hereford, it got through a lot!
The red pen list will come in due course, for now I have to go and get ready for a cycle ride before this sunshine goes. Now the frost has more or less gone from the roofs outside, it's time to get pedalling!
