Well they have been, but they've no power to force it. If Boris hadn't agreed it wouldn't have happened.

Although NRE thinks that the only way now is on those few trains via westbury instead of via reading. Although I will check later. I would imagine the fare to Basingstoke/reading would be around the same increase.

My annual season ticket choice has become more interesting with the introduction of an AAA BLACKHEATH option on the Lee (London) to London Terminals route.

Upper Warlingham First off peak day TC has gone up from £13.30 to £18 ouch.

Still very odd that its available.

I'm guessing it will remain the cheapest 1st off-peak day TC though?

I've noticed a change Virgin has made to their advances from origins Northampton - Tring to Shrewsbury and a fair part of central Wales.
The advances can no longer be booked via Crewe and Nantwich as "VWC & Connections" column has been reduced to one placeholder fare. Advances are only available under routeing "Virgin Trains Only" (Milton Keynes to Shrewsbury), or the old BR routeing "AP Telford Rugby"

Changes to Virgin Advances with change to cheapest advance fares in Std from £12.50 to £15 Man-Eus and £7.50 to £10 Bhm to Eus. Seems as rounding up going on in 15,20,35 etc

Southeastern are also doing cheaper advance fares too.

Have there been any details released yet about Southeastern's advance tickets?

There seems to be a minimum price of 1.5 times the ODT - Ashtead, Epsom and Leatherhead OTFs are all priced at £18 along with inboundary OTFs from Sanderstead, Riddlesdown and Upper Warlingham.
