2013 Engineering Work

Hi all,

I'm just curious as to whether anyone knows if Virgin will be running over the S&C at any point next year, as per previous years when Network Rail carry out routine engineering work between Preston and Carlisle?

Is there a way of obtaining info about engineering work more than the few weeks ahead which NRES allows?

I do not know the exact dates but I believe it is March to May are when it is due to happen.

Look at the Engineering Access Statement on the NR site, the scheduled blocks will be in section 4 which will be accommodated in the LTP schedules, section 5 and 7 is dealt with STP.
