2012 S&C Diversions

Hi all,
I hope you all had a good Christmas.
Does anyone know whether the Preston to Carlisle blockades, which result in VWC diversions are taking place next year?
I find the VT website to be crap imo.

Thanks for your help Philip. I was looking forward to my 'traditional' Pre-Car-Pre trips via the S&C on a Super Voyager in daylight.
Better than none. I'll have to 'Settle' for 1M62 and the Dalesrail services.

Apologies for the bump to the thread..

I'm just having a quick skim through the EC search engine's timetable function.. for trains between Preston & Carlisle avoiding Lancaster, to try to weed out any more services via the S&C and have come across:

Sunday 8th April 2012:

12:56 Carlisle to Preston arrives 15:23
16:00 Preston to Carlisle arrives 18:17 (Continues to Glasgow)

I make a point of these, simply because they're actually in daylight hours!
