Well if it was possible to take the curve to the Great Yarmouth lines at Crown Point avoiding Norwich then that would interest me even if it was only one move a day and using the 47 from Ipswich.

I've still got the Berney Arms route to do as well as Cromer to Sheringham so ought to be doing these drags least once.

Yes - that is exactly what happens.

They depart Crown Pt in the direction of Great Yarmouth (to the left as you look at C. Pt from the Norwich Platforms.) - head up with formation:

Grt Yrm facing end

47 + 90 + Mk3 + DVT

On the return the 47 only runs round at GYM and the set is delivered into Norwich with the 90 at the UP end of the platform. The 47 uncouples and the 90 powers up, takes the set to London.

---

The route taken is AFAIAA booked via the Berney Arms branch.

---

Also when the set arrives in from London the 47 couples up in Norwich Platform (London End) and then powers to GYM.

But that is not using Wensum curve in service as AJ would have hoped.

Sorry - yes just reread it and found that he would prefer a routing from London / GYM avoiding Norwich.

Going via Crown Point's though road - AFAIAA this is not for Pax use.

As far as I remember, last year all the drags ran via Reedham except the last down service and ECS return which were via Acle.

14.50 ex-Nrw looks as if will go Acle as from May 15.17 Gym-Nrw is re-timed to 15.13 & diverted via Reedham. Current 14.12 will divert Acle & depart 14.17.
--- old post above --- --- new post below ---
Any passengers in a hurry will be able to alight Nrw & catch 14.36 local. Those more laid back & carrying the kitchen sink can opt to remain on board & follow the local arriving the resort around 14m later.
